bought some of this in June. A classic example of why I don't understand many times why stocks don't go up. The way I read it, the earnings report on 7-15 was fantastic, but the stock never moved up (actually moved down). Anybody else follow this one? Thanks.

I own this stock, 65, but I don't follow it. I'm a buy and hold investor...once I decide to purchase a stock, I buy a lump sum, have the dividends(if any) re-invested, then periodically add to my position(buying on any dips). I invest in a stock with the idea that I will own it forever--knowing full well that my stock picks (like my sports picks) won't always be winners, and that I may have to unwind a position sooner than I anticipated when I bought it. Of course, selling a few shares of something thats gone down while also selling a few shares of my winners always makes the tax bite a little easier to take.

Have you made any choices in penny stocks lately? I've got a couple of grand coming due in a month( 2 yr CD) that I'm looking to do some stock market gambling with. Suggestions?

Redsfann, take a look at CYGX. Don't think you will go wrong with this one in the long run. It is presently around .73, but it might not be there long. They supposedly have a lot of good NR's coming in the not to distant future regarding animal trials for their herpes medication and possible joint ventures.

65, there is an old saying in the stock market game that says, "buy on the rumor, sell on the news". Once the news is out, the hype is gone. Not saying the stock won't do good in the long term if they keep improving on earnings and such, but once the news is out, the volume usually drops and so might the price. Always watch the volume. Good Luck

just saw this post now, redsfann, I forget to check in here.

I own that one Captain Crunch referenced. I'm pretty ignorant about these penny stocks, and I'm learning myself. Hope u hit a big one.

Sixfive, just put that one away and forget about selling it. I think this might be one of those once in a lifetime stocks. They have way to much going on to sell at this point. I'm hoping this one gets me on the golf course and in my deer stand a whole lot more.
