I agree!!

I agree!!

What an awful showing on the braves part!!!

Lopez sucks!!!

A. Jones swings on the first pitch every damn time!!

Julio Franco needs to hit the showers!!! (permanately) BA. .167!!

That series was there for the taking and the braves just let it go. The Giants obviously wanted it more.

Congrats to all those who took SF!!

on to another day

I couldn't agree more. Sheffield takes over for Barry as the biggest post season choke! Had a chance to redeem himself in the ninth, two on and no outs and what does he do? He strikes out. Chipper was up twice with runners in scoring position. He grounded out with the bases loaded and two outs and then hits into a double play to end the game.

If you can't get clutch hits out of your 3 and 4 hitters, you are probably not going to win a series. Franco and Lopez both looked pathetic also. Hard to believe that is the best they can come up with.

Oh, well. Like you say, on to another day. Life is still good!

A lot of "experts" were on the Giants because of their hot play down the stretch.

But I can't help but think how the Braves achieved their NL-best record. Beating up on the likes of the Expos and Mets as a result of the unbalanced schedule sure padded that record. And the injuries didn't help either.

Heard on the radio that Leo Mazzone is interested in managerial vacancies. Maybe now's the time.

On the lake. Setting hooks!
I agree. I've been a braves fan since 1981. So I've been thru good & bad times. I've said it for years. Bobby Cox just plain out gets out mananged in the playoffs. And when in the world are they going to fiqure out that they have always and still need some offense. They have had one of the better starting rotations in baseball. But to many times our pitchers hold the other team to 2 or 3 runs while we are scoring 1 run. I'm sick of it. While it's nice to be in the playoffs every year. We are pathetic in the post season. My advice: Fire Cox. The team need some new fire. And get Chipper out of the outfield. He's like a fish out of water out there. Put him at first base. He can't do anyworse there. And make delarosa the starting 2nd baseman. We need his bat everyday. And lets get us a good hitting coach. I wasn't impressed with T.P.
