Hard for me to believe I am thinking this way, I have been riding Schilling for quite a while now but just get a feeling on the Bravos this evening. I think this will be a tight game and I have no confidence in the Dback pen on the road. The Braves seem to be very quiet. They were not suppose to shine in these playoffs for once and I think they are relishing in the dog role. No one picked them when this thing started and they look as tough as anyone to me. I think this ballclub took a whole new dimension with Smoltz coming out of the pen. He is basically filling two roles out their, like Mariano, setup-up man and closer and he can bring it with the best of them. Also defense up the middle, don't want to date myself but I have been watching baseball for many years and Andrew Jones is the best defensive fielder I have ever seen . He gets to every ball in every direction and he knows this ballpark like the back of his hand. Burkett had a good start his last time out and I think I have to go with him +130 at home. If the game is tight late , I want to be on the Braves. So , going with the homedog at good price and a better pen.
I could be wrong..I usually am.Ask my wife!!!

Riviman, I too like the Braves tonight. Its not because Im a fan, its just I think the braves bats have shown some life and "if" Atlanta can get to Schilling early they have a legitamate chance of winning the game. Schilling has been tight, but can he continue at this pace? I dont know! But although during the regular season the braves home record was below .500, throw all that out in the post season. Burkett I feel will keep it close, Ari bats have been something less than great and the braves could walk away with a 2-1 series lead tonight. I like the home dog price and hope the braves can punch a few out. Schilling has been known to give up the long ball. we'll see! Im on the braves +135..Cabo...
