in the windy city. Play the White Sox this afternoon. Detroit has thrown in the towel and even if they are to play spoiler, it shouldn't be here against this team which has their number. Weaver averages one win a year versus the Sox and he got that back in April. We have two teams heading in opposite directions, two pitchers heading in opposite directions. Even if Detroit were home trying to avoid this sweep I don't think they could do it. Play

actually the line seems short..that scares me...could be a suckers play....if the sox were-180 i would feel more comfortable..hmmmmm....this could be a trap, but what the heck it wont be the first time i stepped into one...

I definately do not think this is a 'trap'. Line is short cause Weaver's the best the Tigers got to offer and they are trying to avoid sweep. The sox have beaten Weaver 3 times this year already. He beat them once when Pudge Boy pitched for them. The sox are also still playing for something and this is a must win game for them in that regard.

If I lose this play it is because Weaver pitches a gem and thus beats the sox and me. I'll lay the short price and step out on a limb to say he won't.

At least the outcome will be early enough to see your best bet of the night and go 400x on

I have told visionary that if the sox do not come through for us I will be jumping off the George Washington bridge later this afternoon. Lets hope it does not come to that since traffic on this bridge sucks even when there are no jumpers.

I thought it was gonna be on WGN, but I see BLIND DATE on instead... hopefully DETROIT turns out to be as UGLY today as most BLIND DATES are! Good luck on the SOX today! I played the UNDER instead... 3 DET regulars are sitting, that should help us both.

I agree with Phoenix, only way DET gets this one is if WEAVER goes long and is on, otherwise, SOX should roll these toothless Tigers.

I am on the play with you guys too....got ChiSox -140 though. Didn't really like seeing Macias hit one to start the game...but hopefully that'll be the only Tiger run. Lets just hope Jeff isnt a dream-Weaver today. What a nightmare that would be.
