This post sounds like a good place to watch ..will try to contribute myself..Was at the first one in '84 hollypark..(Wild Again- Gate Dancer)

It's a great day of racing and no day offers such value with the highest quality horses going off at odds higher than they will ever be again.

I throw an annual party just for this with a keg , 6 foot sandwich etc and a well charged phone..

talk later

The Distaff
As it stands now Riboletta is in and Plenty of Light out.Was really hoping the later would run.Was my fav for longshot upset.
Ribo will be fav here and most likely chalk of the day.Beautiful Pleasure and Heritage of Gold will 2nd and 3rd favs. The 3 of these squared off 20 days ago with Ribo 1st by 2 followed by B.P. and Gold running 4th 11 back. With the scratch of Plenty of Light will probably use Jostle as longshot if I do wager on race, however I think this race will afford least value of day from betting standpoint but Breeders cup only comes once a year and will be going a little overboard on Sat.
Correction: Heritage of Gold ran same date as other 2 but rn @ Keeneland in The Spinster

Juvenile Filles:
The two co-favs will be Raging Fever and Notable Career trained by Hennig and Baffert.
R.F. will probably get the nod and ? on him will be his 1st time around 2 turns.
Others I am currently looking at are Cindys Hero,Out of Sinc and Shes a Devil Due.
Out of Sinc is mystery to me.She had not really fired at all until recent Frizette getting beat by fav R.F.

Should know more on who is in and who is out after today.
Great coverage on Breeders Cup @ www.kentuckyderby.com Make sure to check out barn notes there.

My fav longshot Lexicon didn't get in drat.
Kona Gold will be fav and rightfully so but can be beat. Some I am considering are Trippi,Successful Appeal, and Delaware Township. Agnus World ,a Euro shipper is big ?. This horse has earned more in last 2 years than next 2 horses in this field combined, however I am clueless on the Euros.

Dogs--

Any opinion on King Cugat in the Mile? I have watched this horse this year, and I think he's ready to do some big things saturday. I won't leave him out of the exotics, but I like him on top, too. Whatya think?

Red.Tough race with large field. The king has lots going for him.6 for 9 lifetime at distance and surface,4 wins 1 2nd out of 5 races this year, leading earnings/start of field,Bailey/Mott combo.
No question he is definite contender.Biggest ? will be what type of breaks he gets in large field. He comes from off the pace and getting bad trip is very possible.Good luck with him.

Just stayed under my budget of $100 ($96)and these are selections I justed phoned in for Breeders Cup to OTB.All tris $1

Race 3 No bet Too much valid chalk
Race 4 6-5,11-1,2,4,5,9,11 cost $10
Race 5 keying 3 2nd & 3rd w/7,10,13 $12
Race 6 keying10 2nd & 3rd w/1,2,5 $12
Race 7 keying 8 2nd & 3rd w/1,2,9 $12
Race 8 keying 6 1st & 2nd w/4,10,11 $12
Race 9 10-2,7-1,2,4,7 & 2,7-10-1,2,4,7 $12
Race 10 keying 7 1st & 2nd w/4,6,13 $12

Will bet 1st race but have to wait till tomorrow will key the 7 at 2nd & 3rd w/3,6,8
cost $12

Here are some longshots I believe have chance to upset that you may want to include in exotics.
Race 5 Altibr 20/1 ml
Race 7 Tout Charmant 8/1 ml
Race 8 Macho Uno 12/1 ml

Main thing if you like a horse don't pass on it to play someone elses. If you need horse to complete tri you can add key or longshot from someones picks.Good luck on the best race day of the year.

Update on weather cloudy and around 60.
