what is there to blow up? the good pitchers are old except Wily, the third basemen is old as well and the MVP must have been juicing his entire career cause his numbers have been waaaay down. the fans will find some reason why the lying cheat can't hit home runs, last year it was his wrist maybe this year he has a sore ass. the Brewers have a weak team and a inconsistent line up. remember this is a team who was on a second half down slide last year. but saying all that it's still early

On the course!
The "owner" blew this team up when he sold it down the road to buy a couple pitchers in CC Sabathia and Zack Greinke. The farm system is shit right now. And Purple, you are correct. Braun looks like a 14 year old kid right now! No size to him at all.

I know Escobar and Cain would look real nice in the Brewers lineup right now, instead of KCs!

Don't forget Brett Lawrie, who would be playing 3B if we hadn't traded him for Shawn Marcum.

Yes, they need to blow this up - but I thought that a few years ago already. They are so far from contention - but the Brewers owner is just like Herb Kohl (who owned the Bucks). Herb refused to rebuild and always wanted to shoot for the 8th seed in the NBA playoffs. Yea, that worked out well. Thankfully he sold the team.

They could trade Lohse, Gomez and Segura and get something for them. Gomez would bring back a great prospect. Lohse and Segura - well, at least they'd get back warm bodies. Probably should keep LuCroy. No way they could move Braun - who is a cheater with a big contract extension kicking in next year (5 yr, 105M).

This isn't going to end well for the Crew.

While I agree the front office has been awful, i still think its simple...

They lack a leader on the field and in the dugout

There are a lot of teams who do much more with much less

Head coach is terrible.....this team could be better

Remember they led the NL Central last year basically off of talent alone for almost the entire season... They lack leadership

Gomez/braun/davis is an elitebunch and young besides braun....and braun and gomez should be the leaders of the team, but one is a cheat and the other is a hot head baby...

Lucroy and segura both can be hugely valuable but they lack enthusiasm and effort which directly reflects the lack of leadership....

As for pitching, do you see what searage and hurdle have gotten out of worley, locke, cumpton, morton with the pirates..?

Their stuff isnt near loshe or garza or peralta...but they out perform daily.....again coaching and leadership....they cant execute if they are not being told how to improve....

This team could be3 good...needs a lot of new faces on staff

This team for the most part has been unwatchable. It's hard to root for them after they literally did NOTHING to improve the team from last season.

They basically went into the season banking that every player improved from last season. They had such a slim margin for error. They have problems in many positions, it's just not one thing.

Not to mention that they have some injuries already and no one has picked up the slack around them.

They are in a huge hole now, and I don't see it getting any better any time soon. The schedule is tough in April/May and they just lack the consistent talent to win these types of games. Their is a lack of leadership and no spark. You could tell in the past 3-5 years they had a swagger about them and a confidence. This year just looks like they are flat-lining.

It almost seems like they got themselves caught in the "we need to rebuild" and "we need to sign a big name player and up our payroll" and ended up doing nothing.

From a betting perspective, they should be a good fade as they can't knock in runners and score. You can pretty much chalk them up for a loss if they get down by a couple runs early.

Anyway, those are my thoughts as a local guy

Good man...hanging in there.

The football/ball season was good to me...ended up turning a profit. That Packer loss sucked hard though.

Have a kid on the way in July so hopefully that will distract me enough to avoid watching the Brewers play!

Hope all is well with you!

Learned long ago not to play bad teams to win and good teams to lose started with W Sox going 26 - 2 and Orioles 26 - 1 back in early 80's Next year Tigers went something like 35 - 0 to start season. When Brewers win 2 in a row i will stop fading till then its a no brainer for me

So, as long as it's a "no brainer", you don't have to post the plays?

Gotcha!

No wonder you never lose!

IF the Brewers are gonna pick up a win it will be tomorrow with Nelson on the mound. He is as close a stopper as they got. I would lay off the fade tomorrow and resume next game. Just my Humble opinion.:0074
