Just flipping through channels before leaving for the airport. The Brian Nichols arraignment was on live where he is pleading not guilty.

Exactly what ground could they possibly have to stand on? The whole thing is basically on video, isn't it?

This question is coming from someone who knows very little about the law.

lol- just saw that and was thinking the same thing. But I think a not guilty plea is pretty much automatic, no matter how much evidence there is. Then the negotiation on the plea bargain begins. But still.
