First post of the season. Been following all you stars up until now, but hoping to contribute myself a bit now.

Record 0-0-0 0.00 Units

NJ @ PIT

Two struggling teams and it's difficult to see who will break out and win this one. I've a sneaky feeling the Devils could win by one but not enough of a feeling to go for it. Brodeur & Fleury could keep it under 4.5 though.

Under 4.5 +113 (1 Unit)

DAL @ DET

Despite a 3-0 home record the Wings aren't convincing to me at all. Yet. If the Stars give them enough PP chances they should take it. I think 5 will be right on the mark for the number of goals so no play there either.

PASS

MIN @ FLA

The under seems the obvious play here with yet again no team standing out for me.

Under 4.5 +100 (1 Unit)

STL @ CAL

The Blues have too much firepower for me here. I can see them taking an early lead and with the Flames having to chase the game they could get one or two more on the breakaway. Again 5 could be about right for the score.

STL +101 (1 Unit)

BUF @ ANA

Are the Ducks back on track? This game should give them the chance to make it three in a row. After the efforts put in by the Sabres last night a bit of fatigue may play a part in a Ducks win. I'm tempted on the over as both teams seem to have found a bit of scoring.

ANA -232 (2 Units)
Over 4.5 -123 (1 Unit)

I've not read anyone else's picks (making excuses already :) )
and I'm on the wrong side of the pond to make too much judgement but hopefully it won't be too bad.

Good luck all!

Welcome, AG. You probably already know this, just thought I mention this about the StL injury woes on D. I posted this in Chenker's thread......

Barrett Jackman of StL will not be playing tonite, which means #2 McInnis, #3 Jackman, #6 Salvador, #7 Khavanov, #8 Walker and #9 Laflamme will all be out for the Blues defense due to injuries. Which leaves Pronger, Baron, Finley, Backman (R), Brismanis (R), Mike Stuart (R) (making his NHL debut) to make up the defensive pairing for StL tonite.

Besides Prongs, and Baron, the other 4 D-men have a combined NHL experience of 23 games

Good luck tonite, and this season
:D

Thanks for the heads up, ddubs...:)

I'll stick with my play as hopefully they'll try and keep the puck at the other end.

Thanks the mugs...:)
