I hope this is an appropriate topic for the General forum, but can anyone with some investment savvy give me some insight into this stock. I bought it in September at about $10. It closed around $5. today. Any hope for this dog?

By nthe way, if 65, Freeze, Blue, or some of my other internet friends suggest to buy more, I will take the appropriate action.

Selkirk might be able to help you out here, he is an encyclopedia when it comes to the stock market. You might want to ask JACK for his email, but I figure he will reply to your post if he sees it. Just keep bumping it up to the top once in awhile.

Tech stocks got hurt as much as anything this year in the market, but unless you really need the cash right now then you need to ride this out or be sorry later. Once they finalize the Rhapsody issue this thing should soar once again, and even if that is not the case it is still a solid company from top to bottom and unless there is some sort of Enron type of investigation going on behind the scenes this one is sure to come back.

Keep in mind I am not a stock broker, I just play one on the internet.

By the way a brief (very brief) consensus of a few people I know who play the stocks full time tell me there is still some downside to this one, so another drop in price in the next week or two may not be out of the question, but all agree it will come back.

I bought Nortel stocks when it was $45.00 was up at one time @ $124...now $3

OUCH

But i didn't get hit as hard as my dad did with Bre-x

Thank you. I guess I will go into the hold and shit mood. I'm okay cause I did pretty well with F5 (ffiv) and Nvidia (nvda) since september. Made some good bucks. I appreciate your responses.

Will look for Selkirks response if any, but probably won't bump it up since I'd rather dazzle you guys with my political acumen as opposed to my ability to pick stocks (which generally ranks up there with my ability to pick winners in the nfl and friends on the internet).

Eddie Time had best idea of asking Kirk down in stock thread. He is sharp and I rarely buy or sell a lot with out his input past 4 years.
If you want a hillbillys quick view I would hold. Not many of their competitors INRANGE, Mcdata,Gadzook,Vixel ect are making ends meet and your outfit has small PE (18 and change) which looks too good for tech stock. They aint (Ky word) paying their head boys a ton either with top dog drawing around 500K not counting options and all the big boys:Reyes,Cuthert and Byrd have purchased some of their own stock this past year,not a bunch mind you,so I would hang tough However I would see what Kirk has to say as he has knack for looking past the obvious which I do not.

Good luck to both of us. Litlle surprised you guys down there in Bowling Green were interested in the financial markets. Thought your only interests were UK basketball, horses, tobacco, UK basketball, marryin your cousins, Loretta Lynn, and UK basketball.

Lets look for Brocade in the teens by opening day of Reds baseball. Got 25% share of a couple of seats in Great American Ballpark. Not the best, but looks like there decent. If u r a reds fan and get up this way, let me know and i'll get you my tix. Don't bring 65.
