shame to die w/only a few of the golden years experienced.

I'm sure Jack saw him PLAY live a lot of times..I only saw him twice in Balt.

Several times on TV

he was in the police academy movies.....i saw him play.........

ashamed...he seemed like a great guy....

they said his "caretaker" found him...maybe he had health issues?...

He was one of the original Miller Lite guys. I think he also claimed Super Bowl III was fixed. I can't remember all the details.........He played in the famous ND/Mich St TIE game and wasn't quite the standout he was in college in the Pros if my memory is right. ...........Just think how many "Smith's" were nicknamed BUBBA through the years, who probably have no idea who the "original" one was. :shrug:
