I think this one might have been worse. :scared Same thing happened to my mil and fil on their Goldwing, but thankfully, they weren't going that fast, and he was able to keep the bike upright.

That would my second greatest fear for an accident. We put the bikes up before the rutting season starts.
Last year there was a guy around here that hit a deer and survived. After 2 months he was recovered enough to ride again. Got killed when a car turned left in front of him.

My riding is done for the year. Bike goes in Sat for an estimate. The wife and I talked and we will decide in the spring on whether to keep the bikes or not. Right now I am gun shy so I dont want to make a rash decision.
