BUCCANEERS/FALCONS Under 39.5 (Sunday) - These have been 2 of the better defenses in the NFC this season, and I expect these defensive units to dominate this game. The Bucs haven?t changed their stripes all that much under Gruden, still relying on a devastating defense that is allowing just 11.8 points and 266.8 total yards per game. At the same time, they are still rather conservative on offense, with last week?s 35-point outburst vs. a pathetic Cincinnati team notwithstanding. Tampa Bay is averaging a disappointing 3.3 yards per rush and 6.3 yards per pass attempt. As for the Falcons, they have clamped down after their opening week shootout with the Packers, allowing a total of 17 points in their last 2 games. While Michael Vick has shown some nice maturity, he will face an acid test vs. Warren Sapp & Co. Also, don?t expect former Buc Warrick Dunn to have much success vs. a Tampa defense that is allowing just 84 rushing yards per game on 3.3 yards per carry.
