guy has the power to right the wrong, and chooses not to do so. there is a clause "for the good of the game" which he implimented when he would not end the world series in a rain shortened game. is every decision this guy make WRONG. wtf, retire already. everyone involved has handled this with class, what a class a jerkoff.

Overturning call would set up a lot of future bullshit...I don't like the guy but the integrity of game needs to be protected...that includes bad calls....I can't believe ump didn't instinctively call out but it shows his integrity....the whole thing sucks but I believe its better for game to leave it alone....on a good note the performance enhancing drugs seem to be out of game now and era's are coming down and game is back to where it should be....
the outcome of the game would not have been effected. Bud should have come out and said this is clearly showing the need for instant replay, so that players get what they have earned, what they deserve. I am overturning the call and considering this the first ruling using instant replay which is now to be implemented into our games.
This whole fuck up I ultimately blame on Bud. He has refused to stay up with the times, refused to have replay inplace for such situations. Because he is an old stubborn ass, a young man is stripped of his rightful place in baseball history. It's funny that even ESPN was joking how everyone else has it but baseball. He needs to retire and take Gary B. from the NHL with him.
