Reportedly bled thru Lasix in the Santa Anita Derby which makes him a toss for the Kentucky Derby, IMO. Once Lasix doesn't stop the bleeding, you never know if the horse will drown in a pool of its own blood. A stressful race like any of the Triple Crown events in not the right place to race a horse with that kind of a problem. But I'm sure the connections will feel the pressure to enter at CD, and will probably do the horse more long term harm than good.

Valuist, isn`t there some kind of restrictions on the horse at this point? I believe they must pass some kind of Vet tests before they can run again. You wise to the rules by any chance?

Thanks, Skanoochies.

He's on the vets list and can't race for two weeks. I believe he will have to work out for the stewards to get off the vets list, but a 4f breeze isn't exactly the same thing as an all-out 1 1/4 mile race in a 20 horse field with 125,000 screaming fans. I'm sure he'll have no problem getting off the vets list but realistically that doesn't mean he'll be ready to race under the conditions mentioned above.
