I had a accident many years ago that has brought me to Deaths door several times over the years. During my accident, I was pulled from the bottom of a pool unconscious only to awake several days later. I was in a septic coma (like what killed Christopher Reeves) for a week. Also unconscious and on a respirator for months with very near fatal pneumonia . There is no doubt in my mind that the good lord had everything to do with my recovery and healing every time. In fact once a intensive care nurse told me that while unconscious I had been whispering & mumbling, and doctors were wondering if I was having some kind of seizure or something, until they discovered I was praying. Shortly I awoke from the unconscious. The Lord is always there, and works in gracious ways. Buddy, your doing good work, I thank you for reminding me I should be doing more in my life Like you. I love you. I wish I could fly to Boston right now, shake your hand and pray with you in person. Believe it or not, immediately after reading your reply I prayed and asked God to open the window of Heaven and bless you in some kind of special way. Oh man, if those that don't know Him only knew.

Your reply in this forum meant very much to me.

I write to my daughter every day and am always looking for things to send along with my letter. Crossword puzzles, short stories, etc. Writing a letter is difficult but with God's grace it's getting a "little" easier. I told my daughter I no longer gamble, but I still frequent Madjacks trying witness for Christ and prevent other parents from experiencing the anguish that I've gone through because of my ego and disobdience to God's word. Oh, what a painful lesson. Anyway, I'm going to copy your reply and send it to my daughter tomorrow. She will be pleased. I know it.

Certainly, and tell your daughter to keep the faith, she is in a tough place now, but the Lord never gives us more than we can handle. Sometimes that's difficult to conceive, but its the truth.
