I have been back to lurking...just not enought itme to post with a two and five year old!:0corn
Anyway here is what I have come up with the morning games:
I have been checking stats (off + def) of the morning games. I then checked where the smart $$$ is going. Here is what I came up with:
NW+8 an ML= too many points for two strong defensive teams. and Iowa has played Flo Int., iowa State, Maine and Pitt... not the heviest of hitters. on the other side of the ball we have NW who is 4-0 for the first time since the wheel and they have played Duke, SoIll, Syr, and Ohio. I just feel the better level of play and momentum carries NW to the win.
Duke -7= Duke is in the middleof the pack with offense and Virginia is at the bottom. On the Defensive side of the ball Duke is mid level D while Virginia is towards the bottom. Duke has also score 30 pts/ game and Virginia is only at 11!
Army +27= Statistacally these two teams are quite similiar on the D side of the ball. Yes Army is only scoring at 6 points per game, but texas a&m is only scoring 21 points per game! 27 too much in this matchup. plus, a&m starts the Big 12 next week and I think thy may not give a crap about Army....a go throught the motions game. kurby
