Going to go ahead and play this now as I do not see a more favorable moneyline as we get closer to game time.
Alot of reasons for me to make this play with the Butler Bulldogs. They were there last year and most all of their players have been through the emotions that have to be contended with leading up to and including playing the game.
If we remember that game last year we had a very good 3 point shooting team with Duke. And what happened to that ?
Butler shut that shit down. I forget the percentage but it was way below what Duke normally shot for 3 pointers.
In VCU we have the same type of squad. The times they lost this year was based alot on their poor 3 point shooting.
I am undecided on how Coach Smarts grandfather passing away will affect him or the VCU team as a whole. Obviously they love their Coach and dont want to see him upset. But as far as the VCU team and emotion , I dont think it will make them play any better or harder than normal.
I have every intention to play the UCONN Vs KENTUCKY game also. Just havnt spend the needed time on that game yet.
Something that has to be considered is that UCONN beat Kentucky this year by 17 points. I am pretty sure I heard that on sports radio this AM. I didnt look yet though.
