I posted this in Woodson's thread but I think this is a closer game than people will imagine. Despite their record and ranking, Butler isn't as good as they have been in prior years. Also the Flames are much better than their recent 4 game Horizon slide would indicate (before the Valpo win). UIC is pretty balanced in scoring this year with others stepping up so that Mayo doesn't have to shoulder the load. Also Vandermeer is due to breakout of his slump and against a Butler team that sometimes doesn't fare well against good front courts, seems like an opportune time.

I agree this Butler team is not as good as years past. UIC has some good wins at Vandy and at Georgia Tech. If Mayo is hot they win if not Butler wins. Butler has dominated this series and has always held Mayo in check.
