On the course!
How the fuhk can I be exposed to watching these dolts all year?

They manage to get a little rally going, tie the game, then Ron Belliard "boots" a patented DP ball allowing the Giants to get the lead again.

In the 8th, the Brewers tie it back up, have the basses loaded with two outs, and get a nice base hit. One run scores, and as the next run is about to score, Belliard (again with this guy!) runs into the tag at third! The "third out" happens before the run scores, so here we are at 4-3 instead of 5-3 and still batting!

This team is a joke, and will continue to be a "go against" all season.

At least Lopes benched Belliard!

I was impressed...

I was impressed...

that they were able to pull out a win against the Giants (as a +190 dog) albeit the Brewers are now 3-9 in the NL Central.

The Giants are tough at 9-3 in the NL West!!!

I may have missed the point of your post. but, in any event, the Brewers should have an easier time in the upcoming series against the Pirates, don't you think?

No, Ron......I don't think the Brewers will have an easy time at any time this season.

They stink. They play like a team 40 games out, and it is two weeks into the season. This is nothing new. Every win will be a struggle, and every loss another kick in the nuts.

I would strongly recommend going against them every game at home this season, when they are favored. This could change, if they pull their heads outta their asses, but until that time.....they are a bad investment.

Every team will get a lucky win, and that is exactly what the Brewers got today. They are -200 for a reason in these games.

Not quite as impressed...

Not quite as impressed...

with the Brewers victory after reading the recap of the game.:nooo:

Barry Bonds left the game after the 3rd inning with a hamstring injury. Probably a lot of concern on the minds of the Giants players after the 3rd inning.

Good luck, yyz.
