Lately I have been reading a lot of data about if you are on a fav at 7 and the line goes to 7.5 don't buy the hook just play the team. The theory is that it takes alot of steam to move the line off the 7, and more often than not the fav covers in this spot. Tonight we have the opposite the line moved off the 7 and a hook. I say buying the hook here with a team that 4 weeks a go was being mentioned for the superbowl is a steal. The Packers were supposed to be bad and they are bad. The Panthers are expected to win or 11 or 12 are home and need the game. The Public is on Farve because he is farve and because the Panthers have played bad. Usually in a spot like this the teams revert back to how they should play.
Im not expecting to the Panthers to be tested here but just in case Farve throws a late garbage td to ruin every squares teaser or blow up the paarlays and totals I'm insulated.
