My wife and I just purchased new bedroom furniture. She is very happy and I guess I am too, when she is happy, Im happy
Anyway, the stuff gets delivered, all seven pieces. The two delivery guys are nice, and hard working. So I start looking at the stuff as they put the bed together, and I see some knicks and scratches, on one piece
, then some more on another piece, and yet even more on the largest piece (the dresser) :cursin:
One of the guys had to call in to service about something unrelated to this delivery, and then says; "why dont you talk to the service people, I have them on line"
So this woman asks me whats wrong........I told her I see some knicks/dents/gouges and scratches....she says, where are they?
Me: Well there is one on the Armoire in the upper left side, and another over by this drawer.....
Her: Is that all?
Me: No
Her: Where else?
Me: I havent looked at all the furniture yet..........
Then we get cut off by the delivery guys cell phone, they are done, end of the day, and are eager to take off, so I say addios, and think I will call the next day.
Two days go by, we look closer and closer at the new bedroom set, and each piece has at minimum 2-3 imperfections. The dresser has 12 of these spots.
So my question for any fellow MJ's that might know about this:
When you buy "new" furniture, how new should it be?
They say they will send a repair guy out, or we can have it replaced? I dont want to be a jerk moon1 , just not sure how far to go with this?
Thanks for any help!! :bigear:
