Thank Gawd I bought to Ravens 2.5 -120 tonight. Should have taken them -2.5 earlier in week, but waited and they got lucky than a winning lottery ticket to win. Thank you Pitt's sorry FG kicker and thanks allowing Tucker to win at the end. See a lot of peeps say how dumb your are to buy 1/2 points, but made me a winner tonight vs a push! Whew!:00hour

Nothing stupid at all with buying down to 2.5 in a series where so many have been decided by 3 or less. I did the same and was fortunate with the outcome:0074:0074
I certainly wouldn't call it dumb, but I think it's a money loser in the long run. If you are willing to ante up the additional juice and it makes you feel better about your play, more power to you! Go for it. Congrats on the winner!:00hour

I buy 1/2 pts or more all the time. Will never ever get burned by the hook again. As long as you win a lot more than you lose the juice isn't really as bad as most think. I can tell you buying points in certain situations has saved a bet many many more times than not for me
I had two games in college today where buying a half point saved me from a loss...got two pushes instead. Jus sayn...
Absolutely !!!! Only the scared and idiots don't buy points. In the Pitt / Balt game no matter who you took buying a 1/2 made ev a 100 % winner
