tex St is one of the few schools that is playing its 6th game this week. They have lost 3 in a row and saturday face 5-0 BYU ranked 12th in the country. Tx St finished its last game losing 3 of its db's. 2 were out on injury and another one suspended for targeting. Hockley the corner is out for the year. Spavital the coach said today that losing 3 dbs made us shift with safeties moving to corners . Also top linebacker Markeveon also was for charged with targeting and is suspended for the BYU game. Brady will start at qb and now he has played in 4 games He is 83-136 { 61%} 800 yds,6 tds and 2 ints. Tx st lost a close game to UTSA and UTSA almost beat BYU.
The line is -29 BYU Think Tx St could cover the -29 but now with its db's injured,suspended etc it a gamble now.

This is the Bobcats 5th away game ..McBride who had injury,and unrelated c-19 protocol mised a few games with Vitt replacing him. But Vitt who did a decent job replacing him is still inconsistent . So Mempis transfers McBride will start today. The problem I see is the tx st defense .. with all their secondary problems they run into Wilson one of the top qb's in the country. BYU has a good OL with almost everyone back . They put some big offensive numbers up beating Navy 55-3 La Tech 45-14 and Troy 48-7.. Now Troy already pounded Tx St 37-17. Then last week even though it was close they ended up beating Houston 43-16. Now Houston Troy and La Tech are much better then Tx St.
BYU is 5-0 and has no way getting into the final 4 because their schedule will kill them . They could go 10-0 and with the Big 10 coming back its the Holiday Bowl for the Cougars the only chance is " style:" points and even that is a long shot. So although I like McBride coming back and am a season ticket holder now to the Bobcats I think BYU could score more points then they did vs Houston,Navy,Troy and La Tech vs a bad defense with safeties playing corners and corners playing safeties,. Tx st did play SMU tough and BC..but they are playing way up in class today .They lost to So Bama last week 30-20 and Troy 37-17 in the Sun conf, Think BYU wins big and throws in some style points to cover

Thanks, as always, for the write up Box. I think for me this fits well as a BYU tt over and not have to worry about covering the big number (which they might very well do anyway). But tt seems safer.
