but I love getting the Redskins and 6 1/2, or 7 if you can get it. I think the game will be decided by a field goal, one way or the other. An outright Skins win wouldn't surprise me. :scared
The Redskins defense should sell out to stop the run and force the Vikings to throw the ball. I'm not sold on Tarvaris Jackson. He was throwing passes from every awkward position he found himself in against the Bears last week . . . with three passes ending up in the hands of Bears. I expect the same kind of pressure from the Skins Sunday night.
I think 6 1/2 is a gift.
Here's an interesting article I found:
"After three of his passes were intercepted by Chicago, Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson said he can't wait for Sunday night's game against Washington and is making some changes in his pregame routine.
Sidelined briefly by leg cramps late in the 20-13 victory over the Bears, Jackson said he intends to do a better job of eating and staying hydrated before his next prime-time appearance.
"I always had problems with cramps in college," he said Wednesday. "It was hard for me to eat. I hate feeling like I'm full before a football game. . . . I'll try to eat a little more. Maybe eat a little more early and then slow down at the end and try to get some more fluids in my body because it's a long day."
Jackson said he drank plenty of fluids the day of the Chicago game, "but I was drinking the wrong things. I was drinking orange juice and apple juice instead of water and Gatorade."
The second-year pro said nerves weren't a problem before his first Monday night start, but boredom with the long wait before game time was."
Hopefully, he'll be bored again Sunday night.
