What do u think of the Bruins going into Tampa tomorrow? Im leaning Tampa and the over. How did that blueline look lastnight? What about Felix? The game under their belt should help them i would think. Thoughts?

Potvin was absolutely superb on Wednesday. The one worry might be that the Devs scored all 3 goals on the power play (I believe Boston scored 2 of theirs on the PP as well).

B's really, really struggled early and were lucky not to be down 2-0 after 1 and 4-1 after 2 but really dominated once the Devs went up 2-0. Devs' 3rd goal was very fluky and the better OT chances by far went to the B's.

I am not sure what to make of Tampa this year. Another Carolina or another Islanders? What I mean is, they had a great turnaround, now can they sustain it? Lost Prospal but with St. Louis, Lecavalier & Khabi still there they should be strong.

Huge line movement tonight at Olympic on Tampa Bay. Moved all the way from +110 to -105 in a relatively short period of time. I am no line movement expert so I don't know what that means. Maybe ol' BW is just looking for a number, or maybe there is something to Tampa. I am gonna take a look at the Tampa Tribune and Boston Globe tomorrow before making a final decision on this one.

I don't live in Boston anymore but I'm with what Nick said. I didn't see the game, except for OT, but had it on the radio. Potvin bailed them out in the 1st period as the B's were skating in cement and being outshot 13-4

Most of the guys here know, it's a rare thing that I bet on B's games - either way - as I'm too much a fan and therefore I will admit my vision is clouded. I am smart enough to know that. I copy articles out of the Boston Herald & Boston Globe along with other places so that you guys can get some info about the game in one spot and don't have to go chasing.

I agree with Trade that the Bolts are a solid pick at home, or at least last year anyway.

BOL if you play this one tonight...I'm passing

robbo ..just saw your post..

i dont have much time...but briefly..

watched the bruins game the other night...off and on because sox game was on..

but from what i saw they were dominated in the first until the end of the period...

second period they were down 2-0 ..until late in the 2nd ..in fact i think they scored with less than a minute left in the second to tie it...

then in the third they went down 3-2 ...scored late again ..and had a chance in ot to win but nj knocked a puck out of the crease..

my assessment ...think they played similarly to last year.. in that during periods of the game they looked like they were standing around...the difference in the opener was simply that potvin kept them in the game during these lulls...

they will score ..as i stated in an earlier post...there is nothing wrong with thier offense ...its thier defense that will be a problem..

jillson ..the defensmen who they got in the McClaren trade had two goals opening night ..he looked good offensively..

there was some talk of raycroft starting tonight...but pre-game just stated potvin in net again..

hope this helped a little

good luck
