I liked your boy Colt McCoy and thought he would be a good QB in the big league.
Cam Newton should be a great QB if he keeps his head on straight and stays focused on what he has to do.
Got to love his upside just like Colt what you think

did any of you watch the show? Wasn't it VERY weird they only showed highlights from his Jr College team and not Auburn? Is something still up or are they protecting against another Bush situation? One thing for SURE, he was the best player in the country!

Cam is good. No doubt about it.

He can win in NFL but will need the right offense. He's not the Manning/Brady style QB, but he can perform on that level.

Dude ... i saw this post on Facebook but didn't respond because its a no factor.

They showed countless plays of Cam throughout the program noting his run against LSU as maybe his best. They even showed him catching a TD pass.

The segment about his days in Texas were to show that he paid his debt when leaving Florida, overcame adversity and won a National Championship etc. It was focused on LEAVING Florida and interviews from his coaching staff were all complimentary.

Completely disagree with your thought process.

But love ya. :toast:

Oh, and War Eagle.

*Note:

Cam did say something that made me hold my breathe,
He said that there were alot of things BEHIND THE SCENES THAT HIS PARENTS WERE A PART OF THAT WEREN'T KNOWN meaning his parents made him the man he is today however, taken out of context it sounds pretty funny with the pay for play.

Much stronger than young. More accurate than young. Better attitude than young.

Ya Vince Young went down pretty easy. Vince Young's completion % his Jr. year was 65%, Cam Newton's 67%. As far as the attitude goes, no one knows except for teammates and coaches. So I would say Cam Newton= Vince Young.
