I shouldn't pound the Mets tomorrow laying just 110 over the Marlins on Friday? Perhaps I'm missing something so I'll stay away for now and wait for the real baseball experts to reply (please do so).

Also looking at the Reds for Friday but will certainly not play them as high as I did Thursday. . .

I would take the Mets....The Marlins are a but banged up right now...and the Mets are healthy and are trying to get that 1st place spot (like everybody else). I like Astacio to fan some fish....AJ Burnett isnt that good without run support...

I agree on the Maddux

Anytime you can get Maddux at around pick'em I think you take him. The most consistent pitcher in baseball over the past five years.

As for the Marlins, with young teams you never know which one shows up. Had the over tonight and they couldn't get the bats going.

Good Luck.

Yeah, I realize its Maddux, but I think he's getting too much value for this one. . . once again, I'd play the Reds for a small bet if anything. Still checking things out. . .

Any thoughts on the Mets? That's the game I really like for now. . . also looking into the Tigers over the Blue Jays as they should be laying more than 110 IMO.

funny you mention the tigers game...i will be at Comerica. The Tigers play well at home however, they are coming home from a roadtrip and toronto is fresh.

But I do LOVE the Mets tomorrow....I think the Marlins downward spiral has begun....

Have fun at the game tomorrow Jedi. . . appreciate your thoughts and will likely stay away from the Braves/Reds game. But still not sure!

Looking now into the Padres. . . Milwaukee only 5 wins on the road this season. . . laying 110 on the Padres looks reasonable to me!

NYM side looks OK to me I am not excited about it would stay away from MADDUX reds certainly have been hot 15-9 at home while ATL is 13 - 9 on the road

Cincy on 3 or 4 game win streak caution is due I feel ATL may win but SHEFFIELD is ? and Lopez will not catch Maddux.

Not saying I will back any of these at this point just some thoughts.

you wont hear me say this very often but the under is the best look in the ATL/CINCY game

pitchers are 1-8 to the under in respective roles road/home with a combined ERA of 3.62

didn't say I was betting it but food for thought

Hitman,

Heard the same thing. . . not sure what I'm gonna do yet but I have placed a small wager on the Astros for the early game.

May place small wagers on the Mets and Padres as well and hope for 2 out of 3. . .

Just my 2 cents but as far as the Mets go right now, they are not putting up runs at all. Burnett pitched an awesome outing against them last year I believe in Fla where he pitched 9 shutout innings and didn't even get the win as Fla won in the tenth. I hope that is right as I am going off the top of my head. But as far as Burnett not being able to pitch without run support, I think this is a pretty good job of what he can do against the Mets. Once again, just my 2 cents.

Nickelback-

I really like the Reds today also. Not only do we get the rematch angle with a vastly improved pitcher (Reitsma) going up against a brand-name public pitcher (Maddux), we get a red hot team who has just won 3 straight on the road. Toss in the fact that Atlanta has injury problems and I'll take the live home doggie.
