I should lay off of taking the under 42.5 for Atlanta/Pitt???

Statistically, both teams strengths on offense match the strenghts of their opponent. Falcons have had 5 out of 7 games go under the total while Pitt is 4 out of 8, but 2 out of 3 unders as a home favorite.

Just not sure if I'm missing something here or not. Appreciate any and all thoughts on this one.

Thanks redking. . . however, it looks to me that the Falcons were able to run the ball against the teams mentioned in that post and not the pass. Funny with a guy like Vick, but the Falcons have really struggled throwing the ball. Their strength is clearly the run which matches up nicely with the Steeler's strength.

Both teams are #2 and #3 in the NFL in points allowed per game. . . averaging 17 and 20 respectively.

Add in the fact that we are looking at scattered storms and a potentially slow field, you gotta like the under in this one.

I'm considering a nice NFL wheel tomorrow with the under in this game and several sides (mostly ML favorites). Still looking into it.

This will be the third game in 3 days on Hienz field as the city league championship was also played there Friday night. Those kids may not tear up a field like the big guys do, but nonetheless it was a third game on a field that already sucks. Big time weather is moving in now with steady rain expected till about 3:00 local time and then scattered storms. By the 1:00 kickoff the field should be a joke, I mean more so than usuall.
