Put these guys back in the National Championship - They will be hungrier than ever ...

-Frank Gore will make everyone forget Willis Mcgahee real quick
-Brock Berlin will do his best Dorsey impression - lots of tds, few picks
-Kellen Winslow cannot be defended
-Poor man's Santana Moss, speedster Roscoe Parrish, will dominate special teams and develop into a big time wide-out even will his small stature

Tend to agree that you have to scratch your head a little when you see them ranked #7 or #8 in the nation. I would have figured them to be a Top 3 team. Winslow is indeed un-coverable, a walking size/speed mismatch. Their offensive tackles are very good for the college level. Berlin would figure to be more potent than Dorsey, but can he minimize his mistakes the way Kenny did?

This team was one ref's call from being undefeated since the Washington gm (1st gm of season) in 2000. Pretty tough to knock that.

I have to respectfully disagree. While their talent is hard to argure with, their schedule is not favorable. Berlin will need some seasoning and their play in the trenches (offensive) won't be as dominant as we are use to seeing. This will still be one helluva team, but if you want to beat Miami, this will be the year to get it done. But I do agree with the assessment that there are not 7 or 8 teams better than the Canes.

the sooners are just too solid this year on the D not to be number1 or 2. Too many questions for a lot of teams this year

I can respect those comments ...

I can respect those comments ...

We can ask the Gators how good Miami is around 1130pm on Sept 6th ... they will be beaten and beaten decisively in the Orange Bowl.

How pumped will Brock Berlin be before that kickoff??

He will light them up like BIG!
