I know it's against the majority, I think there is a lot of value in the Hurricanes game today. I know the streak against philly. Carolina's last 5 are somewhat deceptive, including a couple of OT losses and several where they blew late leads.
They are retiring Rod's jersey tonight and for hockey it's as big as it gets down here. They have been pumping this for days. I think this can go either way, as the long ceremonies sometimes drain the energy. I don't think so in this one. With Carolina coming home after a long road trip, a playoff atmosphere, critical points on the line in the standings, I think there is a lot of value in these 2 bets. They may not win but I will make them a value based play- Expect an energized start, hoping for an early 1st period lead.
