Press Virginia baby!! I love it...got them going to the Final 4.
I hated the collapse they had to Kansas and they lost another tough one, maybe Baylor....but I told people, I think it will help in the big picture and make them stronger.
2 more wins....I'd love to see them win it all (except for Carolina of course) but I think they will run it to the same size, length, athleticism and just great team. But they are a very dangerous team and hope they can win 2 more!!

West Virginia played great, the usual fantastic pressure defense, but they shot the ball incredibly well also, maybe over 60%? I just can't believe Irish looked like they never saw pressure, or didn't expect to get it. Colson foul trouble hand cuffed him, I think he still got 25, and Beacham was just dreadful. West Virginia is a hard team to not like, if they play like that they should make a good run.
Totally agree w everything you say. And as much as I like Notre Dame....I've just never really been into them since Digger left. Carolina's my team but have always loved ND in football as my 2nd team (love the '88 team and man I'm getting old).
I'm not Notre Dame Football and UNC Basketball.....I live and die on the Tarheels and UNC Football has broken my heart time after time. But I could always get behind Notre Dame Basketball back then and the last several years its just not the same. I know Doherty was there for a year before he went to UNC...not sure if anyone else. I also hate how ND is in ACC in basketball and "sort of but not really" in football.
But yeah, rambling....West Virginia struggles against the press....they have proven a few times that old saying...teams that press hate to be pressed...but when their offense is clicking, they are damn tough.
I think a team like Arkansas would match up well but that wouldn't be until the final. I don't know much about Arizona but I think WVA has a good chance to make it to Phoenix. It'll be fun. Good luck rest of the way Shamrock!
