Canucks coach Alain Vigneault will try to use Cory Schneider in two of Vancouver's final three games.
Vancouver is in the running for the Jennings Trophy, given to the goaltenders on the team that allows the fewest goals. In order to be recognized as one of the team's netminders, you must have played in at least 25 games and Schneider has played in 23. This doesn't mean that Schneider needs to start in two more games. For example, Roberto Luongo is expected to start Tuesday against Edmonton, but Vancouver could ask Schneider to play between the pipes in the third period and that would count.
