Gonna make a rare NHL play here. This just seems too easy, which could be a bad sign:scared
Washington at home, Columbus in the midst of a 3 game losing streak. Caps are going to finish the season with the best record this year and one of the reasons will be that they are almost unbeatable at home.

something bugs me about this game too

washington in 3/4, have been winning ugly, and columbus owned them last year while effectively shutting ovechkin down

mason has been ho-hum so far, maybe the caps light a fire under his ass (provided he starts), who knows

I hear ya tubby... what it really comes down to for me is I don't see the Caps losing 2 in a row at home. This is one of the best teams in the NFL, in my opinion, and they're going to get it together soon. I mean it was one game last year that they lost to the Jackets. They did shut him down, but Ove will be fine here I think. Maybe there's revenge factor I dunno.

Well that was a rough loss. Washington takes an early lead that they can't hang on to in the first. Then Ove leaves with a mysterious injury in the 2nd. Caps couldn't hold on there at the end of regulation giving up the goal that tied it up with 22 seconds left. Then to lose less than 2 minutes in to OT on a PP goal, OUCH!
Well, you guys said it wouldn't be easy and you were right! :mj07: But I have to think Caps hold on if Ove stays in the game. Tough one to swallow.

Yep, I was looking at that one as a possibly play. I definitely thought it had more value than the Caps game. But between the early game time and the time switch I totally shat the bed on that one. :142smilie
