They were up 9.5 on the Stros, 7 straight losses later, 7 straight wins by the Stros. 5 games to go and their only back 1.5.

The Cards are on the verge of one of the most monumental collapses of all time. Maybe Roger might get another shot in the playoffs afterall.

Dodgers also make up a game on the Phillies tonight, this NL playoff race is going down to the wire.

they have lost 7 straight for the 3rd or 4th time this year. I believe at one time they were 20+ over .500. They really have only 1 pitcher and even he is getting shelled. If they make it, it seems to be a quick exit if they do. if they dont then it will have been one major collapse, which I really wouldn't mind seeing.

sadly i'm rooting for the astros....they're easier to bet on....

atleast you know they'll throw roger out there...and he's good to hold the oppositon to under 3 runs a game...good team total bet there....and then if he's on the road....and total's 8-8.5...take the under.

If St.Loo made it.....who knows who they'll be playing...if they play the METS, my money would be on NY to take em out.

SD could be the dark horse in this playoff in the NL...they keep on finding a way of winning these close games when they matter the most...???..

watch Young pitch for SD tomorrow....his team record on the road is unbelievable...i've never seen a pitcher that's been on a streak like that on the road the last year or so....

well i posted a few weeks ago that the astro's still had a chance at either the wild card or the div, and many laughed. it just may come true. the s.f. makeup game with st.l may come into play.

Cards could potentially have that Monday game then a play in with the Astros on Tuesday. Lot has to happen first but this is going to be very interesting.
