CARDS/PADS Total Help????

Since Nevin has gone down , so has the run productions form the Padres. Woody has been the most consistent pitcher on the Cards staff. The Cards usually struggle against left handers. Perez has some good numbers, albeit in short work, but impressive still the same. Nine of the last eleven at Busch have gone under. The humdity factor is only at 37%. There is no strong wind to speak of at this time.

With this being said the total has gone from 7- to 8 to 8-.

I know the Padres bullpen is in a bit of dissaray at this time, but other than that is there something I am missing as to why this game is not an under play?

Any and all information greatly appreciated.

first off, let's see who this Perez kid has pitched against...

1) Seattle 5 innings, two ER
2) yanks 6 innings, one er
3) SF 7 innings, 2 er

is this kid a flash in the pan...? don't know...
when will his bubble burst...? don't know.
but the numbers don't lie...he's pitched against three quality opponents albeit SF was his ONLY one on the road...

here's another stat for you...last 11 ST.LOO games have gone UNDER....when will that end...???

that's why i'm off this game...too many IFS...and i'm not willing to lay the high juice on WOODY.(his era at home around 1.52)

and in regards to the total...anything lower than 8.5 makes me nervous.

Although i'm sure TIME TO MAKE $$$ wouldn't argue that he always loves to pay a high price for a WOODY....

San Diego has gone over in 8 of their last 9 road games. They've given up over 10 runs in 3 of their last 4 road games. The bullpen is shot. I jumped on the over last night at 7.5 (Canbet). StL hasn't been hitting since the Kile death but maybe tossed a hint yesterday.
