You can chalk that little beauty up to the terrible managing of the most overrated coach in the game--LaRussa. 1st & 2nd, top of the 9th, no outs...instead of the bunt, he tries to play hot dog and pull a double steal which of course goes to shyte. And then he's stuck with the bat in Cairo's hands when he had Pujols and Edmonds waiting next. Yeah, he's a genius. I can't believe how the media loves this guy. He has always been one of the most unintelligent coaches, in my opinion.
