Little did I know that this was an actual piece of hardware instead of software. That shows you what I know about this. Is this the way to go, or the only way to go? Thanks
A couple of years ago I bought Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 3.0. I think it cost about $30.
After you load the disk you plug in a boom box to your computer and are able to copy all your cassettes. It also works great for LPs. Just hook up a turntable.
The thing I liked the most about this program is you can edit all you music. You are able to remove the pops and hisses from your albums before you copy to a CD.
I bought mine at Best Buy so you might want to check there. They had more expensive programs but this was the only one I saw that was for strictly downloading and cleaning up cassettes and albums.
