IU, in the last several years of the Tom Crean era (error), that total would have flown well over. Most of his players couldn't guard a chair on defense, and his offense was weave and heave.
As a Hoosier fan, I'm glad Archie Miller is changing the culture. Back to tough defense and ball movement, sort of like the Knight days. In three years, IU will be nationally relevant again.
Again, sorry for the bad beat. That game had no business staying under the total. Even a look at the stat sheet tells me it should have gone over. The only things that hurt was IU's FT woes and Maryland's turnovers, which didn't lead to IU points in transition the other way.
