CBS paid $275 million for the rights to its seven Thursday night games (the rest will air on the NFL Network, kicking off with the Oct. 30 New Orleans Saints-Carolina Panthers game, which will be broadcast locally by WWL), for which it will pre-empt its Thursday-night entertainment lineup for the duration of the semi-season

I just don't think you see optimal football when teams are playing on 3 days rest. That's my only problem with it.
