cell phone sim card question

So, is there any way to transfer the 100 or so numbers I have to my computer? If the phone poops out, are my numbers just lost? If I can't do it, can the cell phone store do it for me? Thanks. :shrug: Seems there has to be some easier way than just going through and writing each number down.

Depends on your phone and your provider. If you do have a phone that uses a SIM card, you should make sure they are stored on the SIM card. Companies such as Cingular, T- Mobile, US Celluar all use SIM cards/GSM networks.

Depending on your phone, you might be able to get a cable and transfer the numbers also. Of course I could mention blue tooth which is another way to sync your phone up

I have an old Nokia phone, and my carrier is Cingular.

more than likely that phone is TDMA If you can figure out the model number that will be better. Also if you take it into a cingular store they should be able to help make sure it transfers
