I have worked this game up over and over (especially in light of all the c mich backers and good cappers here on C mich) and I keep coming up with a very poor defense -- one of the worst in all college football alllowing 6.3 yards per play. I hate backing a road team with no D. Any insight as to why all the love for C mich in this spot ?

NIU strength is the run, at almost 190 yards per game. C Mich defensive strength is against the run at 119 yards per game. I think that C Mich is going to try force NIU in to throwing the rock, where they only average 150 yards per game.

Also, NIU opponents are averaging 18 points per game, while C Michigan against better competition, is averaging 28.

I actually penciled this game out to be a PK, so I was going to go with whomever was getting points. C Mich +4 sounds good to me.
