i'll be playing these most likely all straight up--though took ML's so to not hafta worry backdoor cover by teams i think will lose on this year's bowl card:

parlay looks like:

Navy ML (vs Colo St)
Auburn ML (vs Wisconsin)
Texas Tech ML (vs Alabama)
Penn State ML (vs Fla St)
Georgia Tech ML (vs Utah)
California ML (vs BYU)
Boston College -1.5 (vs Boise St)

10 units to win 144

not soo sure on a couple, like Navy, Tex Tech, Cal or G Tech--though thinkthe others win with relative ease.

originally looking at sked--liked Ala with their defense--and a semblence of an offense wthe Croyle at Qb to lay it to TTech raiders and pass happy Off. When i think of Tech, i harken back o the Texas game--where their defense showed up--enough to keep them in the game--though their offense was nowhere to be found--ultimately resulting in Texas pulling away for easy win. Actuality--id ont see that much a difference here--cept that, obviously Texas has better O than 'bama--though think bama makes up for it with better Def than longhorns. --Yet still i took TT--go figure

I dont know too much about either squads Colo St-or Navy 'cept what i saw in cadets vs ND. Also having a late season blind piece on CSU where they were favored by sometin to the tume of 15/16+ and lost outright left a sour tatse in my mouth, on my mind. Guess i'm hoping Navy runs away with thie one--though skeptical

Been against Cal all YR--and on Byu ever since watching their 1H showing vs ND. I was impressed enough to parlay that into decent W's the next few weeks as it took the oddsmakers a good 3/4 wks to catch upt to their passing game and Beck. Though having been against Cal through the Yr--only caught aglimpse of VS USC--where Ayoob gave the game away early and often with multiple INT's. Late in garbage time--Cal switched to their backup QB who was listed at one time as a FB--and was impressed with what he brought to the Off as well as their RB--who i think is a stud--and their Def here--

stressin' Ttech

stressin' Ttech

2-0 so far

TTECH/Ala?

tryin to figure a way to backup the other side of this action--as the more i think of it--the more i'm not-as-sold on red raiders. anyone out there have a strong opinion one way or the other?

as far as BC goes--that for me, would be my Lock of the bowl season. Only reservation i might hold would be the smurf turf they're playin on at Boise St--and that being a homefield adv. Still soo would take this line at as much as -14.

i have no porblems backing likes of Penn St or Auburn--as both should win--and cover IMHO.

Penn St wont run into the same effort noles gave Vtech in their upset win. I actually give PSU a slight edge on DEF when compared to Vtech--though hokies have better sp teams. And auburn has a stiff opponent in Calhoun in backfield for Wisky--though thats ALL they have, and Auburn has an almost as good back in irons and advantages in every other aspect of game. Hence 10.5-11.5 spread.

maybe parlay Ala ML and three other selects i have here-- .......still contemplating.

oh yeah--and Gtech. Being alongtime yellowjax fan, i foiund myself betting often against this jeckyll and hyde squad for GT. Ball is OK at QB and they do have a good WR--though their real weapon would be that of PJ Daniels. Gritty wont-be-denied TB with shiftiness and elusive speed. I think the ineffectiveness of consistent O play crippled the D's chances of showing a better dominance that they could've this year with their speed. having said that, i took GT as think they get solid effort from all three phases against a so-so Utah squad that has some lofty stat rankings--but not much else IMO.
