Utah @ Mich -3
Lot of different ways to view this game. The way I see it.
The public is anxious to see what kind of O the Wolverines will put on the field, since no one really knows what to expect. So how is Utah going to prepare? Are they going to look a film from West Virginia? MIchigan has no Pat White...Are they going to look at old film from Tulane when Rich Rod was there? adv. mich
Mich. offense will rotate with 4 backs, Brown, Minor, Shaw and McGuffie and they will be all over the place in different formations. QB's for Mich is the question mark, so expect alot of safe passes, ie bubble screens, short dumpoffs, the occasional TE dump and lots of running....
The line was at 6.5 early summer and now down to 3. Utah will come into this game confident, knowing michigan can be beat in their house and afterall they are used to playing against a spread since they run one...However Mich returns 7 Defensive starters, which has gotten slimmer, faster and stronger under SC Mike Barwis....The Wolverines are actually preparing in the underdog role with a major chip on their shoulder, they will not take Utah lightly, there is a fire about this club and the new coaching staff....but the public has only been fed the negative garbage throughout summer......
