Memphis Grizzlies @ LA Lakers
The Memphis Grizzlies play their first of a three game road trip tonight when they visit Staples Center to take on the Lakers.
The (2-15) Grizzlies have covered four of their last five games and appear to be a much tougher unit under head coach Hubie Brown.
The (6-12) Lakers haven't covered any of their last four games as oddsmakers have over-compensated for the return of Shaq.
Their last home game was a 110-107 loss to the Timberwolves as a 8.5 point favorite.
These two teams met November 29 in Memphis and the Lakers scraped through with an overtime win. While LA have the potential to blow this one out at home they have slipped into the bad habit in recent games of having at least one very poor quarter.
We don't consider them to be worthy of being double-digit favorites tonight and expect the Grizzlies to hang tough and get the cover.
