Its been a while. . . hope everyone is doing well. . . I had some personal issues that became a priority over capping which is why I haven't been posting (had nothing to do with money). Probably a good thing for me as February is usually a very difficult month in previous years so I ended up skipping it altogether!
Gotta get in for the last game of the season though:
Tech +6 over UConn
Buy the half or full point if you have to. . . I really like this number and the points for several reasons.
1. Tech coach knows the UConn coach extremely well. . . of course you can say its the other way around as well, but I feel this only makes this particular matchup that much closer. Six points is a ton.
2. Tech knows they can beat UConn based on the first matchup
3. UConn walked into the Final Four only to get lucky against Duke IMO. . . everyone just expects them to return to old form (based on the previous tournament games) and blow out Tech but I wasn't impressed with the teams UCONN took down in order to get here except for Duke. They weren't battle tested until Saturday night (don't get me wrong, to fight from 8 down was impressive). Still, I think UConn is getting way too much value from Vegas based on their blowout wins before Saturday and the public is buying into it based on consensus sites that I've seen with the edge going to UConn
4. UConn's free throw shooting. If Tech is down by 10 with a minute to go, they could still get us a backdoor cover.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tech win this one but why go with the ML when you can grab 6 valuable points? I think we're in for a close game just like the two games on Saturday.
GL all!
