SAN DIEGO CHARGERS +7 - Both of these teams are 0-3 ATS, so something has to give. The Raiders have the disadvantage of coming back on short rest after playing Monday night, although an argument can be made that they actually did NOT play on Monday, given their embarrassing performance! I don?t think things will get any easier vs. a San Diego team that always plays the Raiders tough regardless of the standings. In fact, the Chargers won outright here in Oakland 27-21 last season, and they still boast one of the best running backs in the league in Tomlinson. This makes them a threat to control the clock vs. a Raiders defense that is allowing 131.7 yards per game on the ground. As if the Raiders weren?t reeling enough from that 31-10 drubbing in Denver, they now might be forced to go without all-purpose back Charlie Garner, which would be a big blow.
