No limp, he just cant run. He was actually trying to throw it to his rookie WR who was supposed to come back for the ball but gave up on the play. If the WR would have kept coming (like the DB did) he probably would have got there.That's the kinda crap that gets unnoticed and the QB gets blamed but again trying to force a play that is not there.
