Hey fellas,

Any ideas or suggestions on reducing the cost of a DSL High Speed Internet Connection. I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Any ideas or past experiences? I'm sick of paying $45.00 a month!

Hey spits,

You might want to check out cable modem options in your area. Canada generally has a well laid out grid for Internet broadband pipes and I think cheaper DSL is a possibility too. Check out DSLreports.com and the forums there for more info! Good luck man. :D

Spits:
Look into a cable modem. If you and your neighbors are friendly, you can easily set up a wireless network. You would have the subscription to the cable modem and you would then network that to a wireless transmitter. It would be set to a specific IP address and your neighbors would have wireless receivers to grab the waves. Then, split the monthly cost of the service. Wireless transmitter will run about $100. Have to check on ranges of the transmitters.

Good luck
