THE MARINERS DID A NUMBERS ON CHICAGO LAST YEAR 7-2 +350 IN HEAD TO HEAD PLAY , NOT TO MENTION KNOCKING THEM OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS IN 2000. CLEARLY THERE 'S GOING TO BE A LOT OF ANGRY TEAMS CHOMPING AT THE BIT TO KNOCK SEATTLE OFF ITS HIGH HORSE. THE WHITESOX ARE A HEALTHY AND IMPROVED TEAM THIS YEAR AND I DOUBT THE HOME TEAM CAN WIN 116 GAMES AGAIN. LIKE THE WHITESOX CHANCES AS A UNDERDOG.

GAME ONE WHITESOX +145-BUEHRLE;)

Raymond;

I agree. The Sox have as solid a team this year as they have had in last 3 years. Buehrle stepped up as thier ace last year. Had a real solid year. He was 9-3 on the road last year, and his 2 starts against the Mariners he was 0-0 with a 2.63 ERA and held the Mariners hitters to a .183 average against him. Brett Boone was 4 for 6 against Buehrle with 2 HR and 2 RBI's. Take that away and Buuehrle gave up 5 hits in 14 innings which means he held Seattle to a .109 average. Don't think Boone can repeat what he did last year. Sox at +145 is looking real good.

Good Luck
