chinatown in chicago

I am going to the horseshoe casino on 5/2 and they have shuttle buses from a few different area's in chicago. Based on feedback from this site, there is nowhere good to stay near the casino, so we are going to the chicago area and will need transportation

One of the area's that they list that has shuttle's to and from the casino is Chinatown. Is this an ok area?

If this is not good, what about Wrigleyville?

ended up getting a room at the hyatt regency in the loop area for $75 on priceline
